our story

We are inspired by Asia, a continent of contrasts, colors, and flavors. Our interpretation of Asian cuisine is that it should be fresh, well-prepared, hearty, and accessible to everyone. Our goal is to surprise you with unique, original, and easy-to-enjoy flavors that will become a part of your everyday life. We draw inspiration from traditional dishes and street food from Thailand, Japan, China, and Indonesia.
It's time to dare to try new things!

One more trip...
Our founder and Executive Chef decided to embark on a journey through Australia and Asia to train in techniques, learn more about the ingredients and flavors of his source of inspiration.

The sushi bowl is born
We created Sushibowls, inspired by Hawaiian Poke while maintaining our Asian essence. We were the first to bring this trend to Medellín, and it's here to stay and captivate our customers. The photo pays homage to our first SAKE, one of our best-selling dishes.
We joined Rappi and took a chance on what seemed like a very promising startup at the time. Today, it continues to be one of our main partners.

2013
A makeover
We gave our restaurant a makeover and refreshed the brand with an image that better reflects our fresh, Asian spirit. The renovation brought new flavors, which remain favorites for many today, such as Seafood Soup and Curry.
2012
Pairing
We participate in fairs and city events, bringing our Asian flavor to the streets of Medellín. Here we remember the Maridaje 2012 fair. It was a complete success, and for four consecutive years we made the fair our second venue.

2011
The Beginning
Opening of our first restaurant, located in the El Poblado neighborhood, in the Interplaza Mall. To this day, after many stories, many flavors, and changes, we continue to be open in our first location.
We remember our first customers with immense affection.
Our first menu, even today we still have some dishes that have become 123WOK classics; applause for the Tuk Tuk and the Ko Kut Island.
2009
The first trip
During a trip with friends, this dream began to take shape. Influenced by Asian street food restaurants, three friends started to imagine what would become 123WOK two years later.
